Naeri Mort is the storyborn name of Stanimira Dobrinova Stancheva — a Bulgarian-born author of dark mythic fantasy. Raised between the mountains of Bulgaria and the sun-drenched coasts of Greece, she carries the echoes of ancient myth and homeland longing in everything she writes.
In 2014, she followed the thread of fate to the UK, where she earned an Honours degree in Applied Languages from the University of Portsmouth, graduating with distinction in Spanish.
With a deep-rooted love for Classical Mythology and a soul drawn to the unseen, her writing explores the liminal: grief and memory, fate and rebellion, death and the stories that outlast it. Her tales weave the divine with the intimate, the eternal with the painfully human.
When not conjuring worlds from shadow and starlight, she captures quiet magic through the lens of her camera, chasing the alchemy of light, silence, and untold stories.
